SUMMARY
Central banks and financial supervisors have a duty to act on climate and ecological breakdown. COVID-19 and the growing risk of pandemics – driven by our economic system’s relentless destruction of nature – reinforces the case for action. Are the world’s most systemically important central banks and supervisors stepping up to the challenge?

This discussion will present Positive Money’s new report “The Green Central Banking Scorecard” and bring together an international panel of high level experts to discuss key developments and next steps for central banks and financial supervisors on the road to this year’s COP26 climate conference.

The panel discussion will feature a presentation by Positive Money Economist and author of the report David Barmes, followed by a response from the panel and an audience Q&A.
